Upcoming events

1. SCREAM! ( part of the Halloween celebration)

This Saturday! Sadly, I won't be able to go cause I won't be in S'pore at that time :( . But, do attend the event, its fun to toy with your nerves once in a while , hee. Take more photos too! Can't believe I'm missing this....

2. Apollo faculty outing in school on next Wednesday.

Most probably, I won't be around ( gonna be in Msia), which is quite sad, right? hurhur But, Wednesday will be the last day of school so do support your faculty&fac com members by attending, okay?

I'm quite proud of our class cause we have showed improvement in results. It's nice not being the bottom few, right? To those whom may not have gotten the results they wanted, don't fret, always look at the bright side and remain sanguine. Think of the bigger picture. A Levels is after all, the ultimate goal. So just keep up the hard work cause we've got POTENTIAL!

Next up will be OP for PW so jiayou people! Stay calm, stay focused. PW can be quite *cough* disgusting/annoying but we've settle most of the components already and all we have left is OP. So, just tolerate the situation a LITTLE while longer

Regarding class outing, are you guys interested in having one? You may wanna provide suggestions to either Jeanne or me and tell us the best time to have it( perhaps after OP?). Do so ASAP though, before everyone starts jetting all over the world.

HELLO PEEPS! Our class blog is quite dead!~~

And now I shall be brave and try to attempt to revive it.

Last Friday's class 'outing' at A203 was uhm quite eventful (?), with people happily eating pizza and garlic bread and drinking coke and watching ' She's the man'! I hope everyone who attended did enjoy it, especially the pizza that wasn't from Pizza Hut or Canadian Pizza, but some quite nice pizza type hahaha. Perhaps if there is another 5 hour break (like today again, though we needed this 5 hour break to do PW ><) we could have another cool class outing like this again? Watch movie, chill, and eat stuff!

Anyone up for the idea of having a class outing during the nov/dec holidays? Perhaps having ice skating again or whatsoever, since we had ice skating for our class GEMS, and we shouldn't let go of this 'skill' so easily right? Hahaha. Please please tag if you are interested in this outing, or if you have any other suggestions for class outings during the holidays, like cycling or anything, and I guess our CT rep and assistant CT rep will try their very best to organise one for us! XD

Btw anyone wants a class chalet or something? (You can play cards till your hearts' content there, without being caught and demerit points HAHA) Please tag if you are interested in this too!

And PW! OP is in exactly 2 weeks from now, and I hope that every group is coping well and doing fine with their stuff. Like having handed up WR, should be fully concentrated on OP right? Haha, don't be too stressed about this anyway! After 2 weeks we can really enjoy ourselves! (And forget that there is a biology review test right at the beginning of the next year ><) Jiayou people! We can all clinch A and be very happy people next year when the results are released! As mentioned, this is the last lap for PW already, and hopefully everyone can continue at the current pace and standard you guys are at now! (I guess the WR should be of quite a good standard for everyone right? Haha) Then we will wow the moderators and examinors during OP, and give them no choice but to give us an A. Whee.

Our class has been really stagnant for really long!

Ok.
(1) GEMS
It is this coming saturday, 12th July. Our booking is at 3pm. Meet at Jurong MRT at 230pm. We'll still need to walk to the entertainment centre and get our equipment and everything, so please be on time! It is an official school event, so attendence is compulsory. An mc is required if you aren't present. I understand some of you have cca and stuff, I'm asking Ms Teo if cca is excused. Anyways, GEMs is combined with s79. The cost is $11.60. So after the subsidy from the school, we only have to pay $1.60 each.

(2) 7th July
YOUTH DAY IS OUR CLASS' BIRTHDAY!! :D 7/7. Actually Shiwei suggested we have a class outing on that day. But many people already have plans for that day. So we'll get a cake and celebrate it on tuesday instead!

(3) FREE ICECREAM!!
Apollo's adhoc event is coming up! We'll be giving out free icecream! There will be games, and the winning class will get vouchers from some restaurant! So please come down to the event to support us and participate actively in the games! Watch out for the announcements for the exact date of the event!

(4) Inter CT table tennis competition
The Hwa Chong Table Tennis Recreational Club is organising a inter-CT table tennis competition. Participation can be in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. The competition is on Thurs (10th July) for Male and Female Singles, and Tues (15th July) for Doubles. Tell me by tuesday if you're interested in taking part!

Hey people! This blog is seriously getting dead. I guess it is because of the tests and the amount of responsibilities coming up yeah?

Anyway, just wanted to encourage all you guys here. Jia you okayy. We are a super imba and cool class, and we can do better in our tests de lah. Don't be discouraged by this term results, and let's all hope together than the block tests will bring about better results. (HAHA). Okay, hahaha. But yeah, you get my point right? Hahah, I guess that is enough.

Oh and I realised that shuyi's name is not here yet! =D Let's have a class outing during june holidays and officially or whatever like bring her into our class. HAHA. I guess I am starting to be lame. Or zi high. Oh no. Oh man. Hahaha.

Hey everyone!
In case you haven't received the message, the venue for JTS this saturday has been changed to Shokudo at the basment of raffles city. It's like jap Marche. Still meet at cityhall mrt at 615! I think the pricing at Shokudo is lower than that of Newyork Newyork's, though the portion may be smaller.
Oh yes. You all might want to think of new ideas for GEMS because iceskating really isn't cheap. Unless you all are willing to part with more money, that is. But some people (like poor tiffany) are quite broke because we have to pay so many different types of funds, and there are many performances coming up.

Reminder: Pay $30 class funds if you haven't yet done so!! We need the money for JTS DESPERATELY!!

Yup so if you do some adding and subtracting, our class isn't left with a lot of money. We currently have only $63.60 which is really too little to pay for the notes that are coming in.

That's why we're collecting money again ): SO SORRY! Okay ignore what we told you on Monday about the $50 collection. We'll just collect $30 on Monday and this money will be used to pay notes and whatever that is needed such as *GP file, *some Chemistry fund (each person $10). As for the money which we will need for JTS and also GEMS, we will collect at a later date when the events are planned.

Anyway, I think maybe we should consider alternatives for GEMS and also source for JTS venue properly? For GEMS, Jeanne and I (Pui Ian) are coordinating. We've not been able to contact the vendors but I think you all should know that it will probably cost a little? Just in case you all didn't know, the school is giving us $10 each for GEMS (so if it exceeds, we'll have to pay). Also, GEMS can be conducted in school during CT period. Yup.

So go think about it. Remember, $30 on MONDAY! (:

i 'm so sry that i led u all to a wild goose chase ytd but i seriously didnt noe that there are actually bus services that come only on sat!! omg its like "qing tian pi li" to me...=( haha anyway, i also 'hai' some tourists wait at the bus stop for some time until they realise that the bus is not coming anytime yesterday...=P haha but it was quite interesting we ended up at the airport cos its like the ECP is really freaking ulu and aft walking for a while then come to a bus stop with only one bus service....-.- ook erm..i think that the 'me' drawn on sand is quite funny aft i draw some feelers and some weird random stuff on it... =) yea ok, if u all notice, i actually wrote my initials (TJX) in the mid of nowhere, boxed up in btw the feelers...heehe..=P

And YAY so many people are blogging!

Okay, so there was Popololo today! And not many people went for it because most people had CCAs and Biology Practicals to do, so in the end there were around 5 people who went to eat the popiah. My horrigible popiah skin broke when I was folding it so all the ingredients started to ooze out, you know the sauce and stuff. Rarrhhh, haha I have very bad folding skills. And I was quite full from eating like 1 popiah already, so I couldn't practice more because I can't stuff myself with anymore popiah! But it was quite cool, because Apollo had the first adhoc event of the year! We are the leading faculty! Yay!!!

Last day of Term 1! And we have like spent nearly 9 whole weeks with the CT already! I hoped all of you in our CT like this CT very much and feel bonded to the CT (I hope!) And the seniors came back today to take their A level results! Hwachong did pretty well! With 63 people getting perfect scores (7 distinctions, in GP, PW, 4 H2, 1 H3), over 140 something people getting 6 distinctions (which is a very very good score to get too). For biology, out of 10 people, 9 got an A! For chemistry and maths, out of 10 people, 8 got an A! HAHHAA, I guess that is a little comforting right, although we might fail now, but if we continue to persevere and stuff, we can make it for our As and chu ren tou di! =D Yay! I hope hwachong is still first! hahaha.

hai. now i'm like tryin to learn the super hard piece. its honestly sound damn weird on my guitar. i seriously sound super squeaky la. n the 'dao gei' (ok pardon me if its wrong. my pinyin abit crappy) notes are seriously killin me la..now i'm like doing it all fr memory. yeah me too me too! i so cannot read all those musical notes and you see the piece of paper on the right? thats only 1/4 of the whole piece! its called Gavotte! suxiang! yeah anyway today's chemistry lecture was really boring (erm actually not only chemistry but all lectures are boring =X) and the lecturer actually said 'those who want to talk go to sleep now!' lol. so people started sleeping lorh. see who's sleeping.. =D

haha...darren honestly look like lao ren when he slp la. haha. erm. junxin. i dunno how to describe but he just look like a turtle. super funny. n janus honestly slp like......ok i dunno how to say it. but just look very glam. oh ya. n he was like rockin up n down. anw since i promise myself not to slp today, i decided to do my gp n talk with elissa. ok not talk. i think most of the time i was laughing haha! no junxin looked like a praying mantis! haha no offence horh! =D OMG junxin turning like teck yuke aready! yeah the best way to stay awake during lectures is to just write notes, or keep talking and gossiping with the person sitting beside you! or observe people who are sleeping =D yeah anywayits abit late now..after looking at the photos of people sleeping dont you feel like sleeping too?! haha nites and sweet dreams! ^^

Okay, today was the last tutorial for Econs before the first term ends! Which translates to seeing Dr Siva for the last time for this term today! HAHAHA. That was why I never pon school and come to school, cos I will miss Dr Siva during the holidays if I don't see him now. LOL. Never mind me. It must be my brain talking right now. HAHA. XD

I enjoyed myself today! Especially after the maths tutorial at the CT bench! I don't know why too but I just have a particular memory of the times of the CT bench after the maths tutorial. Hmm...got scolded by Mrs Chua today during maths tutorial..but it's okay! =D Which reminds me that we are getting back our Chemistry Test tomorrow... and Mrs Cheng said not a lot of people passed. yay! we're doing a combined blog post now! anyway today was supposed to be a happy day after the bio test but it turned out to be a shitty day because we had to finish our math tutorial and hand it up since we didnt do it the day before :D Ya exactly. I spend half of my time trying to do 1b then end up giving up. In the end have to copy everything. OH YA. N thanks for all those ppl tat posted ok. i feel so happy :) ok. actually we shld be doing our GP n econs now. But i'm daoing it. Hey yo people!~ I am wondering about Biology. I am studying but I couldn't get a single thing into my head! =D

But anyway, updating on the number of people in our CT running for council! Bits and pieces heard from people from and out of our wonderful CT! =D

So now, we have tentatively 7 people I guess. Who are! *Drumroll*

Zelei, Nikki, Darren, Cindy, Terri, Yiming and me! Lol. By now you realised that I have been spamming the class blog like siao for the past few days, ignoring my lovely bio notes! XD And our dearest CT rep, Ivan is also considering to run for council! And he might suddenly come up with a nice nice campaign group before wed and register, which will bring the amount of people in our CT running to 8! Which is a nice and lucky number!! Yay! Yay people! You all are blogging at the wonderful class blog! *Grins widely* Soon we will have a lot of people coming to this blog, and we will win the blogging competition right? Haha! Shall ask more people to come and blog!

Okay, it's the 1st of March today!!! Which means school holidays are coming soon erm in a week's time! Hahaha. Yup. But I will miss schooll!!! Miss coming to school early in the morning either to stone at the CT bench or sit down to start to copy everyone's work. (Which all of us know the feeling so clearly! =D) There was one time I woke up at 6am on a Saturday and started preparing to go to school, until I suddenly realised it was Saturday. Lol. >.< Okay, that was super random. =D Haha.

So on the special 29th of February there was an introduction by council on the elections procedures and stuff! So currently, we have more people going to run for council in our CT! Ze lei, Nikki (They are in the same campaigning group!), Darren, Yiming, and me! Yup. Our CT is quite good, in the sense we have so many people going to run for council! But there might be more from our CT I think! Remember to vote for us on 1st of April!

I'm still trying to get a Cbox for the class blog...but the cbox website keeps on hanging on me when I'm trying to get one. Oh yeah, and if you people have blogs, please please log in and change the links okay! Or you can tag on the cbox (Will try to get one ASAP) your blog and stuff =D.

Since Suxiang needs all our effort in keeping this blog alive for some inter-CT blogging competition, I'm here to write something (: Hopefully everybody will post something since it's not a really difficult task and besides, it's a good way to keep our blog alive! It's an informal way of communication anyway (:

Yup. So today is 29 Feb! It comes only ONCE in 4 YEARS! It's special (: It is the last day for the girls in our class to wear our Sec school uniform - since all of you guys are from High School. It is the day we had a horrible Bio prac which almost ALL of us had to resort to -coughcough- the results. It is the day we're introduced to council work. It is the day of which marks the beginning of the weekend which will be spent preparing for Bio test (-_-) and doing Math Graphing assignment. Yup! It's special!

As you can see, I don't really know what to write. Next week is the last week of term! YAY! FINALLY it's holiday! No more early mornings for a week (:

School's going to get more busy so JIAYOU everybody! Good luck to all running for council (:

hey 08s77! I don't want my dearest econs tutor who kept on niao-ing us throughout the presentation of all of our ILP groups to come and haunt us so yeah I'm blogging at the class blog!

Yup, so Suxiang went for the meeting at LT1 today, about the inter CT blogging competition! Let's join okay! Since we already have a blog here and stuff, we just need people to keep on coming in to blog and update regularly. And I can find people to help us design the blogskin and stuff! We can be enthu and win this competition right?? First price gets $400 food vouchers, which we can use on JTS! HAHAHA. So let's enter okayy?? And try our very best! Anyway, we need to talk about some passion stuff. The announcement is on SMB. So go check it out okay!

Council general elections start this Friday! Wooohooo! =D CT session will be held by the councillors, so yeah, people can start looking out for nice goodies and freebies given out by council hopefuls and zao-ing people! XD While taking these nice nice stuff, please do not forget to vote for these nice nice people okay! I'm not very sure about the total number of people running in our class...but Zelei and Nikki should be running for council. And me too! HAHA. By this time you should know who I am. Or else...haha, I shall think of a worse punishment than our econs tutor coming back to haunt you.

Haha, yes people lets all start studying for biology and shou xin! LOL. I still want to play though. Lala. Oh yeah, its quite scary if you search on the internet 07s77 and 08s77. STJ was fun right. Heard the seniors wen pok after that. Sean was like saying they all order de 9.60 fish n chips, den they see us meng order that burn burn stuff, so they kind of saw their $$ burnin off with it too la. Some of de seniors even wen downstairs to eat cuz dey rly had no $$. Anw, it was rly nice, only dat i stuffed myself until i also burst, so oh well. THX SENIORS. So for JTS, must treat our dearest juniors with something worth eating. No R n B noodles hut or 20 bucks worth of lemon chicken rice at golden rooster, or else i think dey gonna disowned us and throw us out of de ct bench, esp shit sean :p

Oh yea, wangying left le. She's quite a cool prc. haha. kinda made my perception of prcs change 360 degress. im her younger bro now :) rmb to giv me de pirated cds from china for my bdae huh, wangying.lucki she's still beside our ct bench.

Orientation was kinda useless for us actually, cuz oni got 1 new ct mate, but still fun rite. Hello Guys! (This includes the girls as well, so don't call me a sexist) :)

People, spread the blogging prowess please! GO beg all the 08S77 people to come blog because it looks so empty around here. I need pictures! Can any cam-whores just come up and take some class photos and a picture of our CT bench? Please Please, anyone would do!

Ok, here are some reminders, we have to hand in the econs report by wednesday, so remember to work on it soon! Remember to go for Fac Dance practice next thurs because we must train harder to win the fac dance competition! Oh, we have to stay back to paint our CNY banners and to work on our CNY class bench decoration as well, so if you have any cool ideas, just bring it up, and we shall get the materials soon and get into the fun part of decorating the class bench!!! EXCITING RIGHT!!!

OMGOMG. Haha, we have to discuss on our CNY stall! So our current plan is to bake cookies and brownies, but to earn extra revenue, yiming and I would scam people's money by doing fortune-telling. So maybe we can bake at someone's house one day? Charissa or Jeanne? And leave the scamming gimmicks to me and yiming. Heh Heh.

Today's CT dinner was quite ok, but never mind, a proper CT dinner would be held next FRIDAY where we would have Ms Teo eating with us, so you people jolly well turn up! Haha. No more excuses. :p

Oh, and we have to come up with ideas for junior treat senior soon. I heard many of them knew about this blog alrdy, so maybe if any seniors are reading this post, you may like to post some suggestions at the tag board? Maybe kaya toast? Lol.

CNY Activities: We're baking cookies and brownies. i can't remember who but someone said she could bake OH YEAH CHARISSA! she shall offer her kitchen or something (: haha! and Ivan wanted to do fortune telling..
